We kindly invite you to submit your abstracts for our 2nd PhDs in Transitions Conference: Theory and Practice, which will take place on April 27th and 28th at the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. The aim of the conference is to exchange ideas, discuss about theoretical frameworks, interesting cases, developments and challenges in transition research and additionally explore how transition research can be useful for practice.
The conference is designed as an interactive and small-scale event, especially serving the needs of PhDs and early career researchers. In the presentation sessions, participants will have the opportunity to present their work in progress or research findings, in one of the four thematic streams.
During the conference, senior academics working on different aspects of Sustainable Transitions will deliver interactive keynotes and workshops. These include among others: Prof. Bernhard Truffer (Utrecht University & Eawag), Prof. Claudia R. Binder (EPFL Lausanne), Dr. Jochen Markard (ETH Zürich), Dr. Romano Wyss (EPFL Lausanne) and Susanne Wymann (CDE Bern).
The submission should include a 400 word abstract and a short biography of no more than 100 words. More detailed information about the thematic streams can be found in the Call for Abstracts. Please submit your abstracts by February 6th 2017 to email@example.com
Note: Your abstract will not be published, so you can share and discuss your state of research.
